Responsibilities

The City Administrator is responsible for:

  • Planning, directing, and coordinating all municipal activities, including utilities
  • Serving as chief administrator of the City
  • Proper administration of all City affairs
  • Performing a variety of secretarial and administrative duties
  • Supervising, assigning, and reviewing work performed in the City 
  • Acting as a liaison with City departments, Mayor and Commission, staff, outside agencies, and general public
