The public service department is compromised of divisions: Streets & Roads, Water & Sewer and Police.
Streets & Roads
The Streets and Road division of Public Services is responsible for:
- Maintaining City streets and roads
- Cleaning the right of ways, cemeteries, parks, and airport
- Community beautification projects in cooperation with the Department of Corrections
- Keeping ditches and storm drains clean
Water & Sewer
The Water and Sewer Clerk’s Office is responsible for:
- Utility Billing
- Maintaining paperwork, readings and system totals
- Customer Service for Water and Sewer consumers
- Occupational Licenses
